Setup example for Ubuntu 32 bit compatible with 9.x, 10.x and 11.x

step 1

Go to http://gopenvpn.sourceforge.net/ and find link for Ubuntu.
In dialog choose open file with package installer.

Allow installation and confirm with your Ubuntu password.

Download configuration file from Customer Area.
You should have 4 file options for each direction:
Default – connection over UDP port with encryption
Without encryption – connection over UDP without encryption
Default – connection over TCP port with encryption. This is more stable than UDP, but can be slower.
Without encryption – connection over TCP without encryption.

and paste files to /etc/openvpn

Fing gopenvpn under Internet tab and run.

You can see small gopenvpn icon in control panel near clock. Press connect… option

Confirm all with your Ubuntu user password.

Check Customer Area for Username and Password.

Fill Username and Password correctly using details from Customer Area.
Tick Remember password option if you would like to save password.

Once connected to SafeVPN you gopenvpn will have green color. See image as example.

To disconnect VPN click on gopenvpn icon in control panel and choose Disconnect … option.
To connect SafeVPN again just start gopenvpn and press connect

If you get any issues with VPN connection right-click on the icon and press Details…

Copy all lines from connection and contact support.
