This PTPP setup example fully compatible with MAC OS X 10.5, 10.6 and 10.7
This setup example for PPTP connection without encryption.

Start from System Preferences…

Click on Network in System Preferences window.

Press + to add new connection.

You should see pop down menu now. Check next step

Under Interface choose VPN option

Under VPN type choose PPTP option
and fill Service Name as SafeVPN (PPTP). That’s not critical – you can choose any name.
Press Create button

Under Server address put your server IP, you can check check correct details in Customer Area
and under Account name put your Username

Click on Authentication settings… button

Under Password put your VPN password.
Press Ok to save details.

Under Encryption choose None option.

Press Advanced button now.

Check the box Send all traffic over VPN connection and click Ok.

Use Apply button to save VPN connection settings.

VPN configured – you’re star!
You can connect VPN using Connect button

Once connected you will see your new VPN IP address and connection status

To disconnect VPN press Disconnect button
