If you run just one account, you may find unnecessary to use one-click installer since there is no any big trouble to setup VPN connection manually on your desktop. However, in case you use many accounts or destinations, you may find this installer a handy solution to manage VPN connections.
If you run Windows XP, SafeVPN.net one-click installer requires some system updates to be installed on your system. All these updates are available on Microsoft web site.
Prerequisities for MS Windows XP (x86, 32 bits)
If you wish to use SafeVPN.net one-click installer on Windows XP you need to update your system. We strongly recommend that you install all updates. You will also need to select Windows Management Framework (KB968929) in optional updates for installation.
If you don’t want to install all updates, you have to install following Windows updates for the installer to work:
MS Windows XP Service Pack 3
MS .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1
Update for Windows XP (KB968930)
Prerequisities for MS Windows XP 64 bits edition(x64, 64 bits)
For Windows XP 64 you need to install following updates:
MS .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (x64)
Update for Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition (KB968930)
After you have updates installed, you can run SafeVPN.net one-click installer on your system. If you ordered or cancelled some services, run installer again to recreate connections to match your account.
