step 1

In Start menu start typing “network” and click on Network and Sharing Center.

Click on Set up a connection or network option.

Choose Connect to a workspace option and press Next.

Click on Use my Internet connection (VPN) option.

Under Internet address option put your server IP address and
for Destination name put any name, like SafeVPN PPTP.

Check option Don’t connect now;just setup it up…

Press Create button.

You can close this window now.

Under Networking and Sharing Center click on Manage network connections option.

Right mouse click on SafeVPN connection and press Properties button.
Under Options tab uncheck option Include Windows logon domain.

Under Security tab uncheck option Require data encryption.

Under Networking tab click on Type of VPN list and choose PPTP VPN.

Uncheck all except Internet Protocol Version 4, see image as example.
Click Ok to save all changes.

Find Network connections button in tray(near clock) and click on it, choose Connect to a network option

Choose SafeVPN connection and press Connect button.

Under User name – put your Username,
under Password – put your Password.
Check option Save this user name and password... if you would like to save username and password.
Windows will save user name and password so next time you would like connect will no need enter again.
Press Connect button to connect VPN.

During connection you can see status and steps of connection.

Once connected you can close this window, use Close button.

You can see SafeVPN connected under network connections.
Once connected to VPN you have SafeVPN IP and can feel safe.

To disconnect VPN choose SafeVPN connection again need find Network connections button in tray(near clock)
click on it, choose Connect to a network option and press Disconnect.
