Windows 7 PPTP&L2TP setup example for all locations

This example show you how to automatically setup VPN connection for all your SafeVPN.net destinations with all possible options.

step 1

Start from Customer Area,
click on link for your Connection setup script for Windows.. and Save

Open folder with downloaded script

Right mouse click on script and Run as administrator

You will see status on screen. Once finished you should have icon for VPN connection on desktop.
If you get any errors during this step please contact support.

Start SafeVPN connection using desktop icon now.

Click on network connections

You can choose option to connect in this list.
By default you should have 3 options for each destination: PPTP with encryption, PPTP no encyption and L2TP

Once you choose needable option use Connect button to connect VPN.

Once connected to VPN Windows will ask to choose network settings for VPN connection
We recommend use Work network option.

You can also see VPN connection status in list of connections.

To disconnect VPN need use desktop icon again and Hang up button.

Will also need confirm disconnection
To connect/disconnect SafeVPN again use same desktop icon

And you can close dialog using Close button.
